Lake house Dobříš near Prague

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway just 35 min drive from Prague airport. This uniquely positioned property offers peace & quiet, outdoor bbq area, balcony, indoor sauna, outside swimming pool & it stands meters away from a lake. ( ask if you would like to use our blow up kayak and/or wind surf from the boat house). The house is centrally located for shopping (5 min drive to Lidl / Penny Market), sports facilities, tennis courts, scooter ramps, bicycle rental shop….walking tracks The house itself Outside area consists of a large garden and bbq area, swimming pool and a lake. Free parking. Indoors/ ground floor: fully equipped kitchen with dining area, large siting room with a sofa (can sleep two), leading onto a patio/ balcony overlooking the lake. One bedroom with a double bed (+ baby cot per request), a room with infrared sauna, toilet with a bath and a shower. First floor: attic room with three beds, usually arranged as one double and one single bed. Wifi s throughout the house. Towels and bedding provided. Access through a gate, key will be prepared / handed over. If needed, someone can be available to assist with the pool or any practicalities. Chateau Dobříš with a restaurant, French and English park, house of the writer Karel Capek (invented the word “robot”) in Stara Hut- 5 min drive, Castle Krivoklat, Hluboka, or Konepruske Caves are all short distance drive as well as many other cultural attractions. 3 recommended restaurants : a pub across the lake (wonderful walk, fab food & beer), restaurant “U tri statku “, and the chateau Dobříš restaurant are all good. Free parking; I would recommend a car for getting around esp cultural visits.
