The Idyllwild Tree House and Studio Cabin are set in a peaceful, quiet and spacious neighborhood, with a spacious hot tub, front and back yards, expansive porches, and a cute pond, minutes from the center of town, inspiration point and ISOMATA. Welcome to the Tree House and Studio! Please Note: *** These cabins are for peaceful and quiet family-style enjoyment only *** It's a really quiet community. No outdoor music at all, because sound carries here. Our full-time neighbors actively protect our beautiful neighborhood by contacting me and the Sheriff at the first sign of disrespect, so please make sure that a quiet stay is what you're looking for. Please take a moment to review our House Rules before proceeding. If you and your guests find them agreeable, it would be a pleasure to host your stay! There are many beautiful cabins in Idyllwild, each with its own personality. If this doesn't sound like a good fit, there are many others to choose from :) Per Riverside County regulations, we are required to obtain a clear image of your drivers license upon acceptance of the reservation. We aren't allowed to grant access to the property unless we have a clear image of your license. We offer two uniquely designed cabins. The larger one is 12-sided and has a large tree holding up its center. The smaller one is 8-sided and features a large, airy, open-format space. The larger "Tree House" comfortably accommodates up to six people. Two downstairs bedrooms each feature a Queen-sized bed, while the spacious open-format loft above holds two Queen-sized beds. Two downstairs bathrooms feature bath and shower options. It's large living/dining area and fully-featured kitchen comfortably host gatherings. We also feature a state-of-the-art whole-house water filtration system. The Studio Cabin has one Queen-sized bed, comfortably accommodating two more. Its kitchenette is perfect for light snacking (no stove or oven), and its smaller bathroom and shower are comfortable and easy to use. The expansive back yard beckons readers, snoozers, and yogis. The pond hosts a school of fish. Raccoons, deer and bobcats visit occasionally and in the Summer, and bats skim its surface catching dinner at twilight. The outdoor Jacuzzi tub is impeccably maintained, and easily accommodates 4 adults. The expansive front porch is ideal for sunbathers, loungers and readers. Its large, rustic tables and benches are perfect for outdoor dining in the warmer months. The expansive front yard is ideal for child's play, with ample room to run. The entertainment system is easy to use. It features free Netflix, HBO Now, Hulu Plus, Paramount +, Disney Plus, The Criterion Chanel, CBS, Starz and Showtime. Guests with an iTunes accounts can also purchase TV shows and Movies as they like. Our system also allows guests broadcast music, over-the-air, from their iPhone and Android phones directly to the house speakers via wifi or bluetooth. There is a large and beautiful playground in the center of town (** the attached photo is of the playground in town - there is no playground at the cabins). Infant/Toddler features, like child-safety gates, are available upon request. ** CAMERAS: There are NO indoor cameras, at all. Indoor cameras are manually installed between guests for security purposes only. There are several exterior cameras, which are deactivated and covered whenever the property is lawfully occupied. Only one exterior camera remains on at all times - it is located under the front porch of the larger Tree House cabin, aimed at the whole house back-up generator. This camera remains on in order to prevent children from jumping its protective enclosure (which is also alarmed), to spot malfunctions if any, and to ensure that the generator is ALWAYS ready to provide you with all of the luxuries and conveniences I provide, even during a power outage. Guests enjoy exclusive access to both cabins and the surrounding property for the duration of their stay (aside from management, in case of emergency). Access to the hot tub is provided only after the renter signs a "Hot Tub Safety and Responsibility" agreement. I love my cabins and hope you do, too. I take pride in doing my best for every guest. Our neighborhood is beautiful and relatively quiet. There are only a few houses in sight. A very peaceful place, very close to town, with quiet streets to walk on, including the street that leads directly to Inspiration Point. Idyllwild does not have public transit, but it is relatively easy to navigate. Town is 3 minutes away by car, 15 minutes by bicycle, or a 20 minute walk away. A beautiful walk of 15 minutes takes one to ISOMATA. It takes approximately 45 minutes to drive down the mountain to Banning, Cabazon, or Hemet. It takes another 10 minutes to reach Palm Springs, and a little more to reach Temecula.
