If you are looking for a relaxing change of pace to your hectic life style or just a family getaway, visit our cozy and peaceful cabin Big Buck Hideaway, located in a rustic and secluded atmosphere on the southern end of the Cumberland Plateau. Enjoy the sounds of nature on either the front or back porch, which are fully covered while having all the comforts of home! Certain times of the year you may hear the waterfalls located behind our property. The cabin's main entry has an open floor plan, with living room, kitchen, and dining area. The laundry facilities are conveniently located with a full-size washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils to cook a complete meal. The living room is furnished with comfortable reclining couches and a 55 inch TV. We offer internet, cable, DVD player, board games and reading material for your enjoyment. Our cabin features a master bedroom with a comfortable King-size bed, 42inch TV and a private bath with tub/shower. The second bedroom has a set of full beds and also has direct access to the second bathroom with a step in shower.****Please note our Cabin has bedding for 4 but we allow for 2 extra guests. There is an Extra Person Fee for over 4 guests $10 per night. Children under 3 there will be no Extra Person Fee After a full day exploring our area you may want to relax on the covered front or back porches in one of the many Log Rocking Chairs. There is a large gas grill for your meals in the evenings, propane is provided. There is an outdoor Fire pit for evening fires, roasting marshmallows, enjoying a glass of wine or just enjoying the many stars! We are conveniently located to Fall Creek Falls (voted#1 State Park in TN) and Rock Island State Parks. Also within easy driving distance are Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls and Cummings Falls. The Waterfalls and hiking in our area are abundant! Horseback riding and Zip lining are available at FCF State Park. The Golf Course is also exceptional! Also conveniently located to shopping in Sparta, Cookeville and McMinnville . A day trip to Chattanooga is a must to visit one of the many attractions, the Chattanooga Aquarium, Rock City, Ruby Falls, a sunset cruise on the Southern Belle, just to name a few. Also great dining in one of the many restaurants in Downtown or North Shore!
