Stoney Cottage. King Size Room in Rural setting.

HEAVEN IN THE HIGHLANDS .Stoney Cottage is a beautifully extended 1.5 storey traditional croft overlooking the River Snizort. Ideally located and just a 6 minute drive from Portree, the Capitol. We are central to all the must-see hotspots and only 20 mins to Uig for the ferry to other islands . The two upstairs Ensuite rooms have the most idyllic countryside views in the area, as does the breakfast room, which was the original croft, dated 1900's. It features the original coal fire. Bedroom 1 is Ensuite and has 1 king size bed and two single beds. Suitable for a family of 4 , or 4 adults. Fridge, Sat TV, Hub and free Wi-Fi. This room has tea/coffee making facilities and local Scottish toiletries. A self service Continental Breakfast is provided. Rooms are accessed by climbing 14 stairs . There is alternative King Size on ground floor for elderly or infirm , this room has a Private Shower Room and can only be pre booked in advance. We are happy to help with any questions about Skye. Skye is a magical Island, but you need to be respectful of the roads as much of them in tourist areas are single tracks with Passing Places along them. Watch out for Sheep!.......They graze alongside busy roads and can wander across them in an instant! A car is necessary for getting around Skye. A self service Continental Breakfast is provided. Laundry facilities are not provided, but there is a laundry facility in nearby Portree.
