Its 10 minutes walk from the town and train station/ bus station. I live 5 minutes away & will be there to welcome you or us key safe. A great place to see the sites and selfcater. The apartment is situated within walking distance of the historical town of Pontefract. The bedroom has a beautiful new en suite for the guests use. It has been fully updated to a very high standard in April (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) It is open plan downstairs and there is a staircase up to the bedroom and ensuite. Garden has two patio areas and is south facing. The conservatory has table and chairs in it and a heated floor for winter time. Guests will have full use of the apartment and garden. Guest can email or call anytime I live 3 minutes away The apartment is situated in a quiet location however is a couple of mins walk to the main road which runs through Pontefract. It is set in an elevated position which gives a view to Pontefract Castle and All Saints Church. It also overlooks an historical grassed area where there have been discoveries of ancient relics. There are 3 train stations in Pontefract - Monkhill, Tanshelf and Baghill. They are all within walking distance. Monkill and Baghill are the nearest both within 5/10 mins walk. There is also a bus station in the town centre which is 10/15 mins walking distance. The motorways are very close. Junction 32 shopping and eating is a short drive away. There are lots of cafes within the town centre. You are also near to other cities e.g. Leeds, Wakefield and York. There are 3 steps up to the entrance - (front door) from the garden area. parking to the rear of the property for one car. If you have two cars you can park anywhere on the road to the Apartment.
