The Belvedere mountain retreat (Trentino)

The Belvedere is located in the petite village of Patone, overlooking the historic city of Rovereto. The building was my grandfather's birthplace, our family retreat and now a retreat for everyone that wants to enjoy the location! The Belvedere is just half an hour from Lake Garda and ideally located for Verona, Milan, Bolzano and the gateway to Austria. It is perfect for an overnight stop or a longer retreat, with secure car / bike parking. My family and I thank you for choosing us :) Thank you for your interest in The Belvedere. Starting with one simple room, called 'The Amber Room', our aim is to open all bedrooms and fulfill the dream my grandparents began but never got the chance to complete. We invite you to come and be a part of the story and the evolving history of the building, which has been in our family for generations. You will have full access to your bedroom (including tea and coffee making facilities) and en suite bathroom (with shower), plus your very own balcony overlooking the valley below. Though there is no Wi Fi, data signal is good and we have several USB plugs. You are free to explore the gardens and if you prefer to relax, sun loungers are available on request! I will always be available via phone for any queries or requests. My mother Cristina will be at the property to meet you. Communications in Italiano, English & Deutsch :) Patone is a very small village (under 300 residents) situated on Monte Stivo in the Dolomite mountains. It enjoys breathtaking views across the valley to the nearby city of Rovereto. It has a convenience store, a small church and is a gateway to the surrounding natural walks and features. In Rovereto there is the Castle, Italian War History Museum, MART, Eremo di San Colombano (mountain church), Beseno Castle, Dinosaur's Trail, plus countless beautiful restaurants and bars for sampling the local aperitivi! The Belvedere is also just off the motorway making it the perfect stopover in which to rest your head on a long journey. The Belvedere has secure parking for residents. If you are without transport the number 3 bus takes you from Rovereto train station (the nearest rail station to Patone) into the heart of the village and takes around 25 minutes. The nearest international airports are Verona (40 minutes), Milan (2 hours) and Venice (3 hours). The nearby autostrada takes you to Lake Garda (30 mins) and the medieval city of Bolzano (1 hour). This is a 10-bedroomed property which is at the start of its renewal. Your stay will be peaceful and tranquil as you will be the only guests. If you need an additional bedroom, or a different setup of beds, this can be easily accommodated.
