Hawarden is the gateway to North Wales, inviting you to explore the historic villages and natural beauty including Snowdonia and Anglesey. This lovely property offers modern living with a well equipped kitchen, contemporary bathroom, wi-fi, TV, storage, parking for 2 cars with new carpet throughout, sleeping up to six. Upon entering the front door, passing the private garden/decking, the stairs will lead you to the common hallway, with all rooms leading off the newly carpeted space. The large living room offers a dining table for 4 as well as a leather settee for two, with a large 'L shaped' sofa, seating up to 5 individuals, and pulling out to offer sleeping accommodation for 2. The large window offers plenty of natural light, with heating throughout. The well equipped kitchen provides oven with induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and plenty or storage and work space. Bedroom 1 (master): Luxury room with double bed, carpeted floors and large built in wardrobe. Bedroom 2: Two single beds with wardrobe space and more storage, also containing the boiler. Large modern family bathroom with shower over bath, basin and toilet. Centrally heated throughout, bed linen and towels included. To the rear of the property is a garage for parking, small garden with decking and more parking available. We live in the village and can be called upon if needed but we are also happy to respect your privacy during your stay. We are located in the heart of the Flintshire village, Hawarden, just 7 miles from the historic roman city of Chester. In the village we have two local pubs both serving food, the Fox & Grapes and the Glynne and The Old Grocery Restaurant all within walking distance. There is also a lovely coffee shop, the Gallery, a Chemist, Post Office, Hairdressers, Beauty Salons, Florist all with walking distance. The famous Galdstone Library is just across the road together with St Deiniol's Church. Hawarden Records Office is 2 minute walk away. The flat is an ideal base to explore North Wales and Cheshire. For those who love walking, our village offers some lovely scenery or travel a little further and join the Wats Dyke footpath or take a walk up Moel Fammau. Other activities close by include cycling, at nearby Llandegla, or enjoy a round of golf at one of many golf courses. For children, Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium, Ice Skating, go-karting at The Circuit, Indoor Climbing Wall, Swimming Pools, all within 10 minute drive. For a day at the beach, Talacre, Rhyl and Llandudno are just over 30 mins drive. Chester Races are popular and easily reached by taxi in 10 minutes. Liverpool is easily reached by car or take the train from Hawarden Station. Hawarden Station is 2 minutes walk, with access to Liverpool and Wrexham. There are regular buses into Chester and Mold, where you will find plenty more places to eat and explore.
