Gorgeous and Stunning “The Barn at Oxcroft Farm”.

The Barn is set remote and in an isolated part of the Country. It is surrounded by countryside and nature. We have a luxurious designer kitchen and bathroom, laundry room, cosy snug with log burner and two fantastic double bedrooms. Outside is a private secluded patio but the use of our garden is allowed. We welcome quiet guests but no groups/parties. This is not a party house and noise is limited to ZERO after 11.00 p.m. CCTV is on site and so are we. Situated over two floors and totally independent within. Staircase to first floor from large fully equipped designer Kitchen Dining Room which has oven, coffee machine, warming drawer, fridge and dishwasher all available for guest use. Separate room for cloaks, boots etc. with washing machine, dryer, second fridge and a freezer. Bedrooms have their own hairdryer, shower mat and electric fan. Bathroom has freestanding bath and separate walk in shower. There is a shared driveway to the Snug which acts as primary access. There is a private enclosed patio area. The garden to the main house surrounds the Barn which we welcome guests to meander around. It is suggested that children do not wonder without supervision. We live in the main house which is connected to the Barn and will be around and about as we live here. We will be here to welcome guests upon arrival and show them the facilities that The Barn offers. We will also be here for guest check out. Guests should know that we and our neighbours can hear any noise as we are so high up and it’s like a drum skin. Gentle quiet guests are welcome but no partying at all, in respect to us and our neighbours. Oxcroft Farm is surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of places to walk. Bolsover Castle is 2 miles away and Hardwick Halls are 4 miles. The area is steeped in history and a book is available for guests to read about this as well as places of interest that they may chose to visit. Cresswell Crags is a National Heritage Site and is 2 miles away with it's amazing visitor centre and a wonderful meander around a fabulous lake surrounded by caves originally occupied by Woolly Mammoth, Sabre Tooth Tigers and prehistoric man. A country inn serving fantastic food is a 40 minute stroll away on a bridle path, or five minutes in the car. The village of Clowne has a large TESCO, Aldi, Wilkinsons as well as several pizza and Chinese takeaways. There are a couple of cafes and a Wine Bar. As well as a traditional authentic Italian Restaurant (also offering a take out service). It is within walking distance or five minutes by Car. The town of Bolsover is also within walking distance or a couple of minutes by car. Bolsover Castle is here, an Antique Centre, independent shops, Post Office as well as a couple of pubs, bistros and a Wetherspoons. We have the wedding venues of: Hazel Gap Barn, The Elm Tree at Elmton, Bondhay Golf Club, Ringwood Hall, Van Dyk's, Mosborough Hall, Renishaw Hall, Renishaw Golf Club, Sitwell Arms oh but to name few right in our doorstep. What could be more lovely than leaving from here, staying here, coming back here??? There is no public transport nearby but Taxis know the area. We have contacts for Executive Travel and Wedding Cars. Bring bikes and walking boots. Access to the stables and paddock is restricted (except with permission) but will be gated off. Wedding venues galore surround our home and we provide the perfect place for a bridal party or group of very well behaved stags on their wedding eve. This is the only exception to our rule of no single sex parties due to bad experiences.
