We are 400 ft. from the road. Trees abound around us as the Petpeswick Inlet opens up before you. You will love the quiet, the sound of birdsongs, the wind rustling through the trees and the privacy. The land is rough in places, always leading you down to the shore. The guest room is spacious with its own half bath. A shower is provided in the main bathroom downstairs. Windows abound, overlooking the water and the beautiful forest. There is a comfortable bed with cotton sheets, and duvet. WiFi is available. We use sweet tasting water from our well-no chemicals or chlorine. All our cleaning supplies and soaps are scent free and natural. Coffee maker, kettle, tea, coffee, utensils and dishes are provided in the room as is a small refrigerator. If you need anything, please ask and we will do our best to meet your needs. The kitchen is available for cooking. The deck and a screened gazebo are available. Chairs to take down to the shore and bicycles for guests to use . A fire pit when fires are allowed. I enjoy meeting my guests and I am available for questions and information about the area. We are on a 8 Km country road off the #7highway in Musquodoboit Harbour. We are a small village that is growing. There is a public library with computer access, and a gym. There are 2 convenience stores right in the harbour, a bakery, a restaurant, a local fruit, + vegetable store/cafe, and Tim Hortons. There are 2 large grocery stores with 10 minutes of the harbour. The nearest gas station is 5 minutes up the road. We are a friendly, welcoming community and love introducing visitors to all the secret treasures here. It is mostly by car though there is a MusGo rider bus that can be booked. The public transit into Halifax and Dartmouth runs out of Porters Lake,15 km west of Musquodoboit Harbour. We have a shallow dug well so at times we use bottled water if rain has been scant. During droughts showers are usually every other day or as needed.
