Only 35 minutes outside of NYC, it is the perfect escape in a very quiet residential area. Experience your natural surroundings through the large sun-drenched bay windows in this bright and airy three-story home. Main Floor: The main floor has a two-story entranceway that leads to an eat-in kitchen, a dining room with mountain views, and a playroom featuring a ball pit and indoor climber. The dining room seats 8 people, and there are extra lifetime tables and folding chairs available for larger groups. There is a very large Great Room with 2 couches plus a sectional, an indoor gas fireplace and a 70-inch smart TV. Additionally, Bedroom 5 is located on the main floor with 2 queen beds. It is adjacent to a full bathroom and laundry room (with washer and dryer). The backyard has a small grass area and patio, surrounded by trees and the mountain slope. There is outdoor seating for 10 and a BBQ (propane) grill. Upstairs: Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom suite with a king and queen bed that have adjustable electric bases, perfect for reclining in front of the huge 75-inch smart TV, and a personal mini-fridge. The large en-suite bathroom features a double sink, standalone shower, jacuzzi tub and heated floors. Bedroom 2 has two full beds and a toddler size crib. (There is an additional twin mattress available in this room). Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and a daybed with trundle (2 twin beds). Bedroom 4 has a queen and twin bed. There is a full bathroom for the upstairs bedrooms to share, with a large towel closet in the hallway. Enjoy amazing views from the bedroom windows. Basement: The basement has a large common area with a couch, ping pong table, smart TV and a small full bathroom (toilet and shower). Bedroom 6 is very large with 2 queen beds and walk-in closet. The portable baby bassinet and travel crib are available in this room, and there are two extra twin mattresses in the closet if needed (recommended only for children). Bedroom 7 is a small room with 1 twin bed. The Pop-A-Shot dual basketball arcade game is located past Bedroom 7 around the corner. (use address 6 Cheesecote Ln to locate the entrance - follow gravel trail at the end of cul-de-sac to reach the lake and the Long Path trail). 5 min to Harriman State Park, featuring an abundance of wooded trails, lakes, beaches, picnic areas and campsites. Lake Welch Beach and Lake Tiorati Beach offer swimming in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. 15 min to Bear Mountain State Park, boasting numerous hiking and walking trails, spectacular views of the Hudson river, the Trailside Museums & Zoo, Merry-Go-Round pavilion, as well as outdoor ice skating rink (winter), swimming pool, paddle/row boat rentals, and Bear Mountain Kids Playground (summer).
