Charming summer get-away at the old Blacksmiths

Our property is located in a small village in the Danish countryside, with direct public transport links to nearby towns Holbæk, Slagelse and Sorø. By car, the house is a 1 hour drive from Copenhagen. The house has 2 double rooms upstairs, one of which is a used as a childrens room as well as an office which is used as a third bedroom. We have 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a big dining room as well as billiards room. Outside we have a terrace, and a cosy shed bar. The house is originally from 1880 and used to be a blacksmiths. It was recently renovated and so benefits from a modern, open feel but maintains its cosy, traditional countryside charm. We will not be home during your stay, so you will have the house all to yourselves. However, we will of course be reachable throughout your stay if you have any questions. Stenlille is a small village, but has several shops, a bodega and a cafe. The nearest grocery shop to our house is Fakta, which is a 2 minute walk away. The local train station is a 7 minute walk from the house. Some tips of stuff to see and do around here are to go for a walk in Nordskoven, go to Sorø and see the lakes, go to Vedde and visit the Zen garden, or drive to Stillinge strand overlooking Storebælt.
