The outdoor camp kitchen has electricity and lighting and is under a roof with 3 open sides. Its fully stocked with cooking and eating equipment and utensils, sink with cold running water, charcoal grill, a two burner propane stove, small refrigerator, toaster oven and coffee maker. There is a 5 gallon jug for drinking and cooking water. The dining area is under a gazebo with table and chairs. Have romantic candle lit meals outdoors under cover. The outhouse features two camp toilets. There is a cold shower area. Enjoy this quiet, private, peaceful, relaxing shangrila. Stroll down the hill to the Beaverkill stream. Hike the mountain above the glamp site or the many nearby trails. Enjoy an evening campfire and watch the amazing stars on a clear night for a perfect getaway. The owner lives on the property in a separate building and is available to help or answer questions either by phone, text or in person. This studio Glampsite is on a property with a main house which is occupied by the host and other Airbnb guests. The Glampsite is located up the hill from the main house and overlooks pristine woodlands and a large organic garden. The host is happy to share freshly harvested vegetables in season. Bring your walking or jogging shoes or bikes. The Ashokan Rail-Trail trail head is only 3 miles from the glampsite. The 11.5 mile trail is ten to twelve feet in width, with a compacted crushed-stone surface perfect for walking, jogging or biking. Constructed on the historic right-of-way of the Ulster & Delaware Railroad, bought by the county in 1979 and located on New York City watershed land, most of the pathway will become open to permit-free public access. Its open dawn-to-dusk year-round for non-motorized uses, including hiking, bicycling, running, nature observation, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The glampsite is accessible by car, bike, motorcycle or Trailways bus from NYC Port Authority which has a bus stop 1/2 mile (10 minute walk) away at the 4 corners in Mount Tremper. This lovely property is located near the end of a quiet 1/2 mile dead end road with a stream, woods, gardens and multiple seating areas all over, 3 campfire sites with seating and off street parking.
