'Somerled' King-size room, Single Room + en-suite

'Somerled' is a traditional pre-war sandstone cottage. This is a large king-size bedroom with stylish sleigh bed style bed. The firm pocket sprung mattress has a soft mattress topper and high thread count cotton sheets with fabulous pillows for a great night's sleep. The room also has a window seat for relaxing on and reading in the window nook, a smart TV for watching Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, a large storage cupboard to hang clothes in and it's own stylish en-suite shower-room 'Somerled' is situated in a lovely old village called Dreghorn, on the west coast of Scotland only five miles from the Blue Flag award winning Irvine beach and beach park. This 1909 semi-detached cottage has a King-size, en-suite shower-room and a single bedded room on the first floor making up a family suite. Each room has a 32" tv with Fire TV stick, with access to Disney+, Prime Video and Netflix, and an Amazon Echo dot giving you access to music and radio and the smart lighting in the suite. I can rent the King-size room on its own or in combination with the Single room. Dreghorn is great placed for access to M77 for Glasgow; buses only five minutes walk away to both Kilmarnock and Irvine. Dreghorn has a plethora of take-aways and happy to recommend where to eat if required. There are also several bars and a lovely wee restaurant called The Braes in the village too. There are also two small mini-markets minutes away from the house and a lovely wee Co-op store. Not far away, is Irvine which has several larger supermarkets and the main leisure centre, The Portal. This property is LGBTQ+ friendly and is also occupier by two wonderful West Highland Terriers who just love affection. All of the upstairs is yours for the use of and your own front door access. (I use the parking space and rear door for access). The kitchen is available for use, and the dining table is free in the mornings for breakfast which will be freshly home-baked bread, cereals, jams and peanut butter. There will also be full wi-fi access granted upon arrival. I like socialising with new people and always welcome you with a coffee or tea. I live in the downstairs of the property and work from home five days out of seven. Dreghorn is a lovely little village near the west coast of Scotland and the lovely beaches of Irvine, Troon and Ayr. M77 is only five minutes drive away taking you to Glasgow. The main rail station in Irvine is only a short bus ride away which has direct links to Prestwick Airport, Troon, Ayr and Glasgow in the opposite direction. I have two West Highland Terriers. Otis is going to be eight in May 22 and Etta is going to be seven in the same month. Whilst I love dogs, and both of the dogs are very friendly and love having visitors to 'Somerled', this is their domain and other dogs would be a struggle for them. This is a strictly no-smoking property.
