Beach Cottage is a traditional stone cottage, just 100 yards from the breath-taking Trevaunance Cove, sleeping eight guests. The cottage was extensively renovated in 2021 to a high-standard, yet still retains some lovely traditional features, such as exposed brickwork and a roll-top bath. This property is a wonderful choice for a seaside holiday with family and friends. Making it a real home from home, Beach Cottage offers a fully-fitted kitchen with all the modern comforts needed to whip up a family meal, including a double electric oven, hob, microwave, American fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wine fridge. The open-plan kitchen leads into the dining area with bench style seating; a lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal with the open doors leading out into the attractive garden. The property has two living areas; the main sitting room with a wood burning stove, comfortable sofas, a flatscreen Smart television with Sky TV; and a second reception room which works perfectly as a play room for younger guests. This reception area also has a selection of games and books, which you are welcome to enjoy throughout your stay. Beach Cottage has four generous sized bedrooms, all of which have their own en-suites. Two of the bedrooms can be set up with either twin or super-king size beds. There is even an additional family bathroom with a separate bath, just perfect to relax in after a long day of exploring, and a separate walk-in shower. The location of this cottage offers the perfect base with easy access for exploring Cornwall. This gorgeous cottage can be booked alongside its contemporary annexe year-round and during the school holidays, Beach Cottage and The Lobster Pot, sleeping 12 guests, perfect for those larger groups. Please note, The Lobster Pot will be unoccupied and not available for use when Beach Cottage is booked separately. Beach Cottage sits within an acre of beautifully landscaped grounds. During those long summer days, fire up the barbecue, sit out on the patio and take in your surroundings; this will be a holiday you’ll be sure to remember. The Lobster Pot can be found on the grounds, but will not be available for use or occupied by any guests during your stay. One acre of enclosed grounds. Trevaunance Cove has so much to explore from its rockpools to the old harbour remains; you can also learn to surf at Breakers Surf School. Why not try something different? Or head to Koru Kayak Adventures for an amazing kayaking tour and take in the dramatic coast line. A short walk away you will find the lively and welcoming St Agnes. It is a charming little town full of Cornish character. Located on a World Heritage Site and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this little gem has so much for you to discover. Follow the coastal path for some wonderful walks and stumble across historical sites such as Wheal Coates or check out the beautiful beaches nearby. Wanting a day away from the beach? Goonbell Riding Centre offers lessons, trekking and hacks; it is perfect for those of all abilities and is located on the outskirts of St Agnes. Enjoy amazing food, a rustic surf feel and stunning beach views at Schooners. Don't forget to try one of their local ales or arrays of cocktails. St Agnes has many great places to eat and drink including several excellent pubs often playing live music. The Taphouse is open all year round and provides a laid back and casual dining experience in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. There is also a variety of surf shops, craft boutiques as well as a wealth of art galleries displaying local art.
