Traditional 16th Century Inn, with oak beams and open fires tastefully furnished to a high standard whilst retaining its original features. Our rooms are currently be updated one by one but are all ensuite and are all clean and tidy. Our rooms are situated in the cottage garden and all have their own private access to come and go as you please. We have two single rooms, both have a comfortable single bed, with crisp Hotel bed linen and luxury fluffy towels with toiletries, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities. The ensuite has a shower cubicle. This room is situated in its own block away from the Public House itself and has its own private access from the cottage style gardens and has a view overlooking the garden. This room is £55 per night. Ironing facilities are available upon request as is a hair-dryer. In the pub itself just a few steps from your room you will find a bar and dining areas with a substantial menu on offer. The property offers free parking. Please note that breakfast is not included but a Continental Breakfast is available for an extra charge, this is ideal for the early traveller as it is delivered to your room the evening before, for you to enjoy in your room at your leisure. The property is located in a quiet residential area in the Hamlett of Shurton, the pub is the only amenity in the Hamlet but is less than a mile away from the Village of Stogursey or 5 miles from Cannington where there are local amenities, post office, local store etc. Otherwise you can travel approx 10 miles to Bridgwater or in the other direction to Minehead or Taunton all larger towns within easy access.
