Simple and classic red cottage near Gbg

Enjoy charming living on the country side with both beach and forest nearby. Take a trip to Gothenburg or Alingsås for a day or just stay and relax in the cottage. Big garden that offers berries, cozy corners and adventures for children. Sauna by the lake can be arranged for free. Welcome! Simple and picturesque living just outside Alingsås, only 40 km to Gothenburg. Child friendly! The cottage is antique and offers electricity but no pouring water or toilet. That service is found in the main house only 30 meters away. • Please note that the WC and shower are shared with the host family • There is a double bed with two new spring mattresses and an extra mattress to use on the kitchen floor. There is also a simple and antique (adjustable) baby bed in the bedroom. There is space for max. 2 grown ups 1 child and 1 baby. There is microwave, water boiler, percolator, single hotplate for cooking, porcelain and other kitchen supplements in the cottage. • We will take care of your dishes in the main house • There is a small sink and a water carrier for washing hands. And the guests are of course free to fetch water in the main house. The WC is available 24h a day. You will have your own key. You can find an alarm clock, a stereo and some toys in the cottage. There is no TV or Wifi in the house but we hope that you can enjoy the view and sound of nature instead. If you need Wifi for some further bookings or other necessary check ups you can borrow ours via Bluetooth. Please, feel free to ask if you have any questions. Welcome! Toilet and shower is suited in the main house. The WC and shower is built at one end of the main house so the guest don't need to walk through any of our rooms to get there. It's just inside the main entrance and we have a door to our kitchen. My family enjoys company and good food with others. It's up to the guest if they prefer to be social on their vacation or not. We do have some good local tips if anyone wants inspiration. Feel free to ask anything. We will try to help and do our best. /Maria, Saša, Billie and Lou It's nice to be able to choose between wildlife or Gothenburg city, that's why we moved here. Neighbours with hens and fresh eggs to buy, but don't worry there is no rooster waking you up in the morning :) Calm area with old houses and stone walls that offers many beautiful walks. Buss to Alingsås stop at the house (or where you choose to) Monday - Friday, once an hour. Train about 1,5 km from the house, it stops every half hour, all days of the week. You can choose to go to the old wooden city of Alingsås (famous for nice cafeterias) in 5 minutes or Gothenburg in 25 minutes. It is 5km to Alingsås, 35 km to Gothenburg, 30 km to Borås and 800 meters to the beach at lake Mjörn. Me and my husband speak fluent English. We have a daughter, named Billie, born in 2010. She and my husband Saša are bilingual, they speak Swedish and Serbo-Croatian.
