This little place is just plain charming. Lots of light and personality. Wonderful alternative to the typical hotel experience. Fabulous for short term rental needs. Come enjoy Downtown Flat screen TV/ Record Player FREE PARKING/WIFI Near Piccadillys Pub, the Walking Mall, our beautiful and historic library, Shenandoah Univ. -5 minute Winchester Med Center -5 min DC. -1.5 hr Skyline Drive -30 min Free Parking too ! Reach out on social media if you need more. Michele Bouve Hoffman This vintage apartment above downtown shop is just plain charming. It is decorated with lots of light - and personality! Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch swing and wait for the train to come by. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and large closet. There is a turntable and some vinyl there for your enjoyment. Many guests have been delighted with their stays and have said that the apt. is more spacious than it looks in pics . There are steps up to the porch at apt entrance. There is a laundromat down the street. Free parking for two cars. I always respect my guests privacy to enjoy their time. But I do live just a few moments away and am available if needed via text or call. If there are requests for local recommendations for sights and or restaurants etc... I am happy to share Winchester's best kept secrets. Also, I am a local realtor with 20 years experience and so if my guests are interested in relocating to the area I am happy to help ! I love the small town feel...the train whistle...the little shops owned by real people who are following their passions. Piccadilly Public House is across the street with great food ...outdoor seating and in the warm weather seasons they have live music on thurs, fri, & sat nights. Within walking distance to everything downtown. Grocery stores within a few miles. Uber and Lyft available. There is a fab little restaurant with great sushi, called Chopsticks, it's right up the street and around the corner just a half block east. Down the street the other direction toward downtown just a block and a half is The Walking Mall that boasts all sorts of fun places, delicious restaurants: El Centro - Mexican Romas- Italian Union Jacks- British fare Winchester Thai -Sushi Thai and many more … some Saturdays there is a farmers market. The George Washington Hotel across the street has the Half Note Lounge and the often have live music as well. The apartment is above a small photography studio and behind it there is free parking for up to 2 cars where it says tenant parking. On warmer weather weekends there is live music @Piccadilly's Public House ( also good eats) across the street so be sure to bring along your dancing shoes. We do provide ear plugs for guests use should they want them. The train next door does go by and sounds its horn but its all part of the charm of downtown Winchester. For Breakfast walk down to the Piccadilly Grill for old fashioned counter top eating. Don’t miss Bonnie Blue on Amherst it’s delicious breakfast /lunch! PLEASE NOTE: All major holidays ( Local: Apple Blossom National: Christmas/ Thanksgiving/ New years/4th of July / Memorial & Labor Day will include an additional $100 fee. This fee will be requested prior to guests arrival. Please note: Stays over 3 weeks will incur an additional double cleaning fee. 10pm to 7am. Should guests accidentally lock themselves out of the Airbnb guests may need to contact a locksmith to regain access.
