Cosy, double room in artist’s house.

This double room is in the attic so feels very cosy on a winters night, but with dual aspect original sash windows is bright and airy too. It’s the smallest of our rooms so ideal for a quick stop over as not big enough for a full wardrobe but has hanging space, tea & coffee and tv available and the use of our newly fitted shower room. This is a very characterful house which we are renovating and as artists, there’s always lots of creative projects on the go. Guests are welcome to use our shared spaces but we have 3 bedrooms available to rent. This is a bijou double room with cosy character and there is a new shower room to use a few steps away, although not en-suite. Tea, coffee and herbal teas available in the room, but you have the run of the house kitchen too. Breakfast of cereals & toast included between 7.00-9.30ish. All dietary requirements catered for so let me know what suits, and if you’d like a Full English or cooked brecky let me know beforehand, we use lovely local produce and it’s a ‘pay-as-you-feel’ donation. We are happy to accommodate little dogs if needed. You can usually park directly next to the house on the street and come through the garden gate at the front of the house. I will give you keys to come and go as you please. I’ll always try to be here to greet you. Tadcaster is a lovely little town built around the brewing industry so the beer here is still delivered to the pubs on a horse drawn dray. There are several places to find a decent meal and takeaways and a Sainsbury’s for supplies. We can always help with advice or lifts if you need.
