ALGONQUIN RIVERSIDE BUNKIE

The cozy 1 room Bunkie with a large deck, sits atop a boathouse overlooking the Madawaska River. Inside the Bunkie is like a small cabin, behind is an outdoor summer kitchen with amenities. A bathroom with shower is inside the main house a few steps from the Bunkie. On the property there is a Dock, River Deck, Fire Pit, and an Orb oasis. Guests must be able to use stairs to access the various areas of the property. On the shore of the Madawaska River and approximately 3 kilometers to the east gate of Algonquin Park On the property you will find a dock, river deck, fire pit and an outdoor covered summer kitchen. The bathroom facility is located in the main house. The village of Whitney has a drug store, grocery store, liquor store, the Mad Musher Restaurant, the Algonquin Lunch Bar, the Menwatay gift shop as well as two gas stations. The Opeongo Outfitters shop for canoe and kayak rentals is close by. There is a public boat launch and a public beach within the village. Bunkie guests have private use of the lower level bathroom in the main house.
