Near Perrot Park-Entire Lower Level of House
This is the lower level of the house located in Trempealeau right off of the Great River State Trail and Perrot State Park. It is 2 miles away from the Mississippi River and the Lock and Dam. Other attractions in Trempealeau include Elmaro Winery, Eckers Apple Orchard, the Wild Life Refuge and the Historic Trempealeau Hotel. This listing is the same as the other House in Trempealeau listing, however this listing is just the lower level of the house. This space as 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, 3 twin beds, and if needed a twin roll away and full floor mattress. It also has a couch, love seat, chair, TV, coffee maker and coffee, mini fridge and microwave. It has its own private bathroom with a shower. You can access this space though a private entrance through the garage using a garage code. If you would like to rent out both spaces you can do so. Let us know in your request. The whole house has 21 beds, 5 floor mattresses, and 2 couches and can sleep a total of 40 people. This is family house with 2 parents but the kids are all in or out of college and don't permanently live at the house, so they are not always there. However, sometimes all members of the family will be at the house during the stay. The lower level has its own entrance through the garage. After April 4th we will be fully vaccinated and all shared spaces will be open, inside and out. Inside shared spaces available upon request. The family will be in and out of the house. Conversation is encouraged and we are always willing to give advice about the area. Welcome to the beautiful Driftless Region of Wisconsin. There is do much to do and see in our little area you will leave wanting to come back again. Perrot State and the Great River State Trail are literally out our front door. In Perrot you can hike yo the top of Brady’s Bluff or Perrot Ridge Trail and see amazing views of the river and bluffs. You can take the bike trail 5 miles to the Wild Life Refuge or all the way to La Crosse. Elmaro Winery, which has great outdoor seating and amazing view of Trempealeau Mountain and the bluffs, is 3 only miles down the road. Ecker’s Apple Farm and Brew Farm with 12 different beers on tap, is a 6 minute drive away. You can’t stay in Trempealeau without stopping at the Historic Trempealeau Hotel, just 2 miles away in town, and enjoy the view of the river from their deck. Wing Haven Pizza Farm in Galesville is 15 minutes away and has great pizza nestled at the end of a beautiful coulee. Most people drive here, but since we are right on the bike trail we have had several guests who are riding their bikes through. We have a 3 year old black lab, Lola, who loves all people and dogs. She has been to several obedience classes and is still learning her manners. We love dogs and do allow pets, but a $25 one time pet fee will be added to the stay. You can either pay in cash or through Airbnb, whatever is easier for you. We don't charge a cleaning fee to keep costs down for you, so please take all of your garbage with you. We do recycle and can take your recyclables to the recycling center. Just leave those off to the side in the black bins.
