The Stables - countryside character property
A self-contained hideaway sleeping up to 3 in a converted former stable full of countryside charm with original beams in the vaulted ceiling. The property is located in the village of Sturton le Steeple with a great local pub, and is ideally suited to couples looking for a relaxed rural getaway or a small family wanting to enjoy the attractions of the local area. Located on the Nottinghamshire-Lincolnshire-South Yorkshire border, the historic city of Lincoln is just 35 minutes away. The Stables comprises a generously-proportioned bedroom with adjoining bathroom. There is a king-size bed plus a day bed which can either be used as a sofa or as a bed for a child. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. The Stables is located on the ground floor. It is attached to our house, but has its own private entrance. Parking is in the large driveway for the main house, just a few steps from the entrance to The Stables. We can be as interactive as you like or leave you entirely be. Either way we are nearby should you need us. Sturton le Steeple is a quiet rural village with a pub and lovely children's play area. There is also a small post office. There is easy access to footpaths for country walks and local attractions, such as Sundown Adventureland, Clumber Park and the Yorkshire Wildlife Park are easily accessible by car. The Stables is attached to our family residence so we are often around should you need anything. If you require bedding for the day bed for your stay please let us know in advance. Breakfast can be provided for an additional cost.
