Mount Pleasant Cottage is a spacious three bedroomed cottage set in the heart of Borrowash – a village close to Derby in the beautiful south Derbyshire countryside. The cottage has been sympathetically renovated to be modern yet retains unique original features; affording the best of both worlds. The cottage is perfect for both short breaks and longer stays having all the modern comforts you would expect from your ideal 'home-away-from-home' in the country. Briefly, the property comprises of entrance porch, dining room, kitchen, lounge, conservatory, utility room, WC, first-floor landing, three double bedrooms and shower room. Outside the property has lovely gardens to the front and rear with ample car parking. Our hot tub is housed within the conservatory. The hot tub is available for guest's to use but requires 48 hours notice for setup and requires a £100 set up fee which we can add to the booking using the change reservation function after booking. There are 3 Tv's in total; One in the lounge with Netflix, one in the conservatory (hot tub) with Netflix and Amazon, and one in the kitchen. The property is not set up for young children. There are no; stair gates, fire guards, or door locks so please bare this in mind if you plan to bring young children as you will need to bring your own child safety items. Security lights - There are 5 around the house and a sensor camera over the front porch which detects movement & people. The Nags Head serves as the village pub which is the perfect place to visit after country walks or evenings out. Elvaston Castle is only one mile away and there are footpaths and walks aplenty surrounding the village.
