Nordic Cottage in Chaska, MN

The Nordic Cottage is a 16'x9' cabin in our back yard & overlooks a stone patio area & pool. We have a 3/4 acre wooded site with an upper level fire pit. Sliding door leads the patio area and stairs to the pool. Our neighborhood is across the road from a trail access leading to about 85 miles of trails leading all over Chaska and the rest of Eastern Carver County. The bathroom is located in our of home which is next to cottage. Parking on driveway or out front, on the street. Our guest house was originally used as an art studio but we've now converted it into more of a cabin inside. The cabin has cedar wainscoting and a cedar tongue in grove ceiling. There is a small loft for the adventurous and a brand new air bed for more conservative sleeping arrangements (both have nice cotton sheets, down comforters and are super comfortable) There is a gas fireplace and supplemental electric heater for extra warmth and an air conditioner when it gets hot. The space is charming and a cozy place to curl up with a book or lap top. We have a microwave and on demand hot water pot for small snacks and tea. Guests will have access to our home for bathroom use, as the cottage is detached from the home, as well as access to the patio, pool and fire pit in the yard. We will try and accommodate any reasonable request; iron, steamer, washer and dryer, and access to my "Garage Gym", upon request. Our neighborhood is nice with custom homes built in the 90's and is located along city trails connecting to ravine and levy trails that lead around the rest of our community. We have many mature trees and the neighborhood has a nice feel. We have two police officers who live close by and we are only a few miles from shopping and restaurants. We are 9 minutes from the 494 beltway and about 30 min to MSP Airport. Many trails cool for biking, running and just getting out. 3 miles from house is a (super nice) public bus terminal with routes into Minneapolis for sporting events and the U of M. We have a 90+ year old family member with health conditions living with us so we ask all guests be vaccinated for Covid-19. There is a queen size bed with a comfy down comforter. The loft works well for storage.
