Family Cottage Shared Bathroom at The Horse & Cart Inn

A friendly village gastro pub with 4 B&B rooms. We have a family room and a twin room. Two rooms are dog friendly. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with large walk-in showers. Our room rate includes a full English breakfast. The restaurant serves excellent food with an extensive wine list and we have a lovely south facing garden. This listed building has recently been refurbished to provide maximum comfort in beautiful surroundings. This delightful terraced cottage is situated in the beautiful rural village Peasmarsh, 3 miles from the medieval harbour town Rye. Ideal for couples, small families or travellers, the cottage makes a lovely base to return to after a day of exploring the local area and beyond. Open the door and walk into a spacious living space with leather sofas and a cosy wood burner to warm the evenings. The dining table connects to the well-equipped kitchen, where you can gather together for your meals or games night. The ground floor is also home to a family bathroom, with a shower and contemporary décor that compliments the style of the property. The stairs lead up to two spacious bedrooms and plenty of storage for your clothing. When you check-in, you can opt-in for breakfast at the pub for a small charge and enjoy a magnificent Full English or continental breakfast. After a good night's sleep, many afternoons can be spent in the homely garden, for a moment or two enjoying your surrounding. NOTE: Minimum stay is two nights. The property may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. The Horse & Cart is in the centre of the small village of Peasmarsh. There are lots of great walks and cycle routes from the doorstep. There is a supermarket and petrol station 15 mins walk away. Rye is about 3 miles away and Hastings 14 miles. The beaches at Rye Harbour, Camber and Pett Level are about 7 miles away. We are on the edge of East Sussex and very close to the border of Kent. There are plenty of opportunities for watersports, fishing, horse riding and bird watching.
