Welcome to the Salty Suite. This detached, private suite shares a quiet two acre cleared forest property with the Trailbreak house. The second story suite provides a sneaky ocean view and quick access to outdoors. Enjoy the lawn, listen to crashing waves and use our short private trail to access China Beach. Tall ceilings with southerly oriented windows capture natural light. Private deck perfect for coffee and bbq. Suite is well stocked for family vacation, outdoor adventure, or quiet getaway. The Trailbreak property is owned by four families who love the outdoors and are excited to have you experience this space. 2.3 Acres nestled in the trees. The property borders Juan de Fuca provincial park (China Beach Park) and offers private trail access to China Beach and the well known Juan de Fuca trail network. (please note: the trail is steep and appropriate footwear is recommended) The suite accommodates 4-5 people and is great for groups of family or friends. This unit is a secondary suite to the main Trailbreak house which is also rented via Airbnb. Guests have their own parking, outdoor area and entrance, yet share the yard and trail to the beach. IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS: There is NO cell service once you pass Sooke. Please be sure to download your directions and entry information prior to arriving on site. We have a local caretaker in the area if you need help with your check in. Although we do not live onsite we have a local caretaker available should you need anything! We are also available via messenger or telephone (there's a landline) at any point during your stay. Old growth trees, waterfalls, mushrooms, breaking waves. This property borders Juan de Fuca Provincial Park (China Beach campground) and has a private trail to a beautiful cobblestone beach. You can walk the beach to Cold Shoulder café for an Americano and baked good at low tide, or use it as base camp to start your hike on the Juan de Fuca trail. Explore the nearby parks, beaches, surf breaks, old growth, and trails: China Beach, Mystic Beach, Jordan River, Sandcut. Only a short drive to other attractions like Sombrio Beach, Botany Bay, Avatar Grove, West Coast Trail. PLEASE NOTE: there is NO cell service in this area. You need to download all your directions before hand to ensure a smooth check in and arrival. Please message us when you have checked in so we know you have found everything ok. Please note the WiFi works well for downloading emails etc. It does not stream video well so please download any shows you want to watch prior to arriving on site. Be sure to pick up any food or supplies needed before passing through Sooke as there are no grocery or gas stations in Jordan River.
