Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in our beautiful spacious Bell Tents. A great location on the edge of Rusper Village available for families/friends with access to an ancient woodland and only a mile walk to the village which has two pubs. There is plenty of space for outdoor games, fires or just relaxing. Whole Site Booking 6 x Six Metre Bell tents & 3 x Four Metre Bell Tent (9 Bell tents in total) – up to 24 persons -  costs £800 for a two-night booking stay The site has six 6 metre bell tents and four 4 metre bell tents. The site has fully working flushing toilets that have just been built, new hot showers, washing up facilities, drinking water, outhouse with power, kettle, fridge. The site is fully secure with access through a coded gate. The tent area is lit with solar lighting. There is onsite parking. Fire pits & firewood are included. There is no electricity in the Bell Tents. Check in 2pm to 5pm Check out 10 am The Bell Tents The Bell tents are a large open space, the tents are all unfurnished. The electricity in the out building can be used to pump up air bed etc. The 6M Bell Tents can sleep up to 6 Adults & the 4M Bell Tents up to 4 Adults. There is no electricity in the tents. We DO NOT provide any linen/bedding, camp beds or blow-up beds – you must provide and bring this yourself. BBQs are allowed but must be off the ground BBQ’s & no disposables allowed. We do not provide the BBQs. Our free range chickens and cockerels live on the farm and may pay you a visit. As there is livestock on the farm you are expected to hear the cockerel crow in the morning. No dogs are allowed at The Rusper Centre due to this. We cannot accept any single sex whole site bookings. Free Parking. Coded gate access Welcome Pack The Rusper Centre Horse Ghylls Wood Farm Capel Road Rusper RH12 4PZ Just off the A24 on the outskirts of the quiet quaint Village of Rusper. Directions If you are travelling from the A24 (either Dorking or Horsham), take the Rusper Road from Clarks Green Roundabout. Our Post code runs out just shy of our entrance gate. If you pass Friday street on your right, then Sport Horses International on your right then we will be the next gate way entrance on your right. We have a brown electric sliding gate. If you reach Rivendale farm on your left then you have gone too far. We are opposite the entrance with big white stone lions and have a black iron sign outside. Rules & Regulations Please adhere to the rules so that everyone can share and enjoy the land. Coronavirus * Please do not enter the campsite if you or any members of your household have symptoms of coronvirus. Please follow current government guidelines and follow procedures should you or a family member show symptoms. * Please use hand sanitisers regularly * Please wipe down communal toilets, showers and washing up facilities after use. * Please observe distancing measures between other guests and staff. * Please encourage children to play at a suitable distance from each other. Arrival/Departure Pitches are available from 1pm on the day of your arrival. You are requested to vacate your pitch by midday on your day of departure. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate where possible. Late Arrivals You may pitch before or by dusk. Cars Absolutely NO car/vehicles shall be permitted to drive on or park on the grass/field areas, vehicles must be parked in the hardstanding parking area. Cars are parked at your own risk; we accept no responsibility for any damage or loss. Kindly do not block any other vehicles in. Speed Limit The speed limit on-site is 5mph. As there are often young children playing, and animals loose, we ask you to take special care when driving on-site. Dogs Strictly NO dogs are permitted to enter the site with campers, we run various canine related businesses on site and for safety reasons cannot permit additional dogs on the land. Parking We have a large hardstanding parking area, please park along the long front that faces down to the fields (drive straight ahead. Please do not drive on the grass, or park on the grass or in front of the stables. Kindly do not block any other vehicles on site and leave the main parking free for large vehicles to turn around. You MUST clearly display your mobile contact number in your dashboard/window while parked in case we need to contact you while you are in the field. Disclaimer*You enjoy the use of our land at your own risk. The landowner, LOC Ltd, Equine Services or any of the staff/employees are not in any way responsible for any incident, loss, damage or accident incurred whilst on site. We accept no liability or responsibility for loss, damage or injury whatsoever. Use of land/storage/parking is let/hired to you as a 3rd party, and payment received confirms you have read and understood the terms and conditions of this agreement. Where applicable you should hold the relevant liability insurance for your activities at Horse Ghylls Wood Farm – this would not be covered by the landowner under any circumstances. The Fields Be aware that we have chickens and a yard cat that range freely in the top yard/parking. There is a fenced in field next to the camping area with a 5 bar gate to it. This is strictly out of bounds and only for the use of Horse Ghylls Woods dog walking clients. All guests must keep away from this field and fences and not interfere with the people and dogs using this. We have nervous, reactive and aggressive dogs running free in this field and we would kindly ask that you respect their space and privacy. A map will be provided for those wishing to venture into the woods the border the land. Barbecues Barbecues may be lit provided they are raised off the ground and are in a suitable container. Please ensure the smoke and fumes do not disturb other site users. Please do not leave unattended and keep an eye on children at all times. Barbecues are to be used at your own risk and responsibility and should be disposed of safely. In times of very dry weather, when the fire risk is high, the use of barbecues may be restricted. Signs Please acknowledge and adhere to any safety/no entry signs around the site. These must be taken very seriously for the health and safety of you and other guests. Environment For health and safety reasons, we do not permit visitors to hang any items on the trees. Hammocks, washing lines and tree swings are strictly prohibited. Likewise, we do not permit fireworks or den building on or around the pitches. Wildlife Please do not disturb or feed the animals in and around the site. Please do not approach or tamper with the beehives on site. Noise Please keep noise at a level which will not disturb other site users, and our neighbours especially between (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) pm and 8.00am. Entrance and Grounds This is to be used for cars only. You will be provided with a security gate code by your organiser and this permits you entry and exit for the duration of your stay. Please do not share these codes with anyone outside of your group. Please follow the signs, all out of bound areas/no entry signs MUST be adhered to. We will not tolerate any trespassing. We have other customers on site and any vehicles, premises, property must not be tampered with or entered. Please respect our tenant’s privacy. Cleanliness We make every effort to keep the site facilities clean and tidy and ask for your help in maintaining this standard by leaving all facilities clean after use. Please do let us know if there are any problems with any of our facilities. There is a small bin on the site but we ask you to take all waste home with you. Littering will not be tolerated under any circumstance. Toilets Please use the toilets provided and leave them as you found them in a clean and tidy manner. Showers Please use the showers provided and leave them as you found them in a clean and tidy manner Terms and Conditions The Site Manager reserves the right to exclude customers for breach of our rules and regulations. We are NOT on mains sewerage so please do not flush any tampons, sanitary towels, nappies, face wipes or condoms down our toilets.
