You'll love this beautiful, private, upstairs apartment in our historic home with a river view and a short walk to everything downtown. Built in 1870, this house is especially unique because we are only a few steps from the Washington Civic Center, a favorite place for location weddings, as well as the historic downtown! With a breath-taking view of the Pamlico River, you can enjoy the private balcony with your morning coffee or a glass of wine to watch our incredible sunsets. "318" has a stocked kitchen, a cozy living room with HDTV and Wifi, and a washer/dryer. It's perfect for walking, jogging, biking, kayaking, boating, sailing, fishing, eating, shopping, or just plain relaxing. All COVID safety protocols are followed carefully with your wellness in mind, including a HEPA Air purifier. Each bedroom has a king bed with a private bath, and one even has a claw foot tub. We take hosting seriously and provide many special touches including Kurig coffee/creamers, snacks, drinks, and some local treats, all to make your stay memorable. Give us a try! This rental includes the entire upstairs private space with private entrance. Guests must be able to navigate stairs! Guests enjoy a private balcony on the front overlooking the river and downtown, and a small deck on the back for more intimacy and privacy. Located in the middle of historic downtown Washington, with short one block walk to all the shopping, dining, and playing. The waterfront boardwalk is a gem, located across the street, where you can enjoy a lovely stroll along the Pamlico. Many shops and restaurants have river access to make entrance easy. The boardwalk is also a wonderful place for an early morning walk or jog. We are a fitness first host! Just walk to it! Or ride your bikes. Parking is on the street in historic parallel street parking, or park right next door at the "Senior Center" on weekends. Parking is never a problem. Because of the balcony and a busy Main Street, this is not a suitable space for children. We do not make exceptions to this rental rule.
