My place is close to The New Forest, Salisbury City, Bournemouth and You’ll love my place because it's an idyllic retreat from everyday stresses There is a sitting room with T.V, large wildlife garden Our Mill is a working mill producing wholemeal flour Bread made with freshly milled flour is a breakfast specialty Mill is open to the public at weekends Easter to Sept demonstrations take place approx 3pm on Sundays, My place is good for couples and we are happy to accept well behaved dogs. The Mill is open to the public at weekends for milling demonstrations and for the sale of cream teas, homemade cakes, our freshly milled flour, local ice creams etc We have 2 double bedrooms also 1 twin bedded bedroom all with en-suite shower, wash basin, and W.C also a comfy sitting room with T.V all rooms have T.V and hospitality tray Richard and I run the Mill look after the gardens and are at home most days to help with any inquiries on the local area We can help with making reservations for horse riding, bike hire and advice on local walks also advise on local places to eat and drink We are on the northern boundaries of the New Forest national Park with its wonderful walks and cycle tracks you are bound to encounter ponies donkeys and cattle all roaming free and in Sept pigs are roaming the forest to eat the acorns as these are poisonous to ponies Public transport is available from nearby Fordingbridge there is also the New Forest Tour bus this operates between July and September a hop on hop off Double Decker bus an ideal way of seeing the entire New Forest Bournemouth and Salisbury are also on the public transport route There are many attractions within easy reach of the Mill i.e. Beaulieu Motor Museum, Salisbury and Winchester Cathedrals, Southampton dock yard for those going on a cruise Montesfont Abbey (NT) Kingston Lacy (NT) Exbury Gardens, Bucklers Hard and Bournemouth Pier and beaches to name but a few
