Step back in time to the elegant town of Oundle and stay in an exquisite Victorian cottage with all the modern comforts. Cozy sofas, TV, WiFi, smart dining for 6, & a large fully equipped kitchen/laundry leading out to a tranquil walled patio garden. Upstairs is a spacious BR with king size bed and airy bathroom with bathtub, toilet & walk-in shower, leading to 2 further double BR. Walking distance to centre of town, supermarkets, old world pubs, restaurants and numerous food delivery options. Hard to beat location! This stunning period property in the heart of Oundle. In the lounge and dinning room, we have refitted the flooring and have enough seats for up to 6 guests. The wood burner is for aesthetic purposes only. Upstairs, we also put in new carpets and would preferred if guests could remove their shoes before climbing up the stairs. Here, we offer three bedrooms; the master bedroom is a very good size with a king sized bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and side tables with lamps for light reading before bedtime. Located on the top floor are 2 cosy sleeping areas, both with a low sloped ceilings on one side. Both have a double bed and somewhere to hang your clothes. The front facing bedroom provides a intimate and private escape from the rest of the party. Whereas the Mezzanine area, is the ROOM WITH THE VIEW of the tallest spire in Northamptonshire! Please be reminded that this is an old cottage with ONE Fabulous family sized. It has a sink, toilet, walk-in shower and a freestanding bath tub. This house is superbly located and is a few minutes walk into the heart of Oundle and Oundle School, making this an ideal place to stay for visiting parents. There is no parking outside the house except perhaps to quickly unload your luggage/bags. However, there are free on-street parking on East Road, Kings Road and Blackpot Lane. I live a few doors down from this property, so if you need anything, please give me a call or text. Oundle is a beautiful, old market town, rich in history and plenty to offer for all visitors. For Historians, you’ll love the rich history and stunning architecture. Oundle also have some fantastic walking and cycling trails for you to explore along the River Nene and surrounding quaint and beautiful villages. Barnwell country park is 10 minutes walk from the centre of town, which is a perfect place for you to grab some me time as you surround yourself with nature.
