NEW LISTING! Welcome to "Tiny House in the Redwoods"! Situated with the redwood forest on one side, a private patio space and hot tub in the front, and a goat pasture in the back. We offer a memorable experience where you can watch goats frolicking in their pasture while you stroll through the property, which includes the redwoods! It's just a ten-minute drive to town and only 1 mile down the road from the park! There are many more fun things to explore during your stay in Humboldt. Tiny House in the Redwoods is a brand new spacious 280 sq/ft tiny home. We have been busy over the last 6 months preparing it for our guests! While the house itself is completely ready and cozy, we are still working the last few details of the outside area/site and expect to be completely finished by April 2022. Photos will be updated regularly. The tiny house is completely private from our home, with its own parking and patio/yard with a hot tub, hammock, bistro set, (and an outdoor shower coming soon!) Private parking right in front of the tiny house. We respect your privacy and will not expect any interaction unless you request it. We are close by if you need anything, so don't hesitate to ask! Our neighborhood is quiet and rural, in a valley between vast redwood forests. Although many people walk, jog, and bike in this neighborhood, there are no sidewalks or designated bike lanes. * The tiny house is located on our private property, so we expect guests to be respectful of our home, our neighbors, and the surroundings. We have dogs and cats, so you may hear or see these animals during your stay, but all are friendly and mostly quiet and to themselves. There is a fence between our space and the guesthouse, so interactions with our pets won't be a common occurrence, but this is their home so they may want to come say hi on occasion. * We live right next to the redwood forest and all of the wildlife that comes with it. So guests should treat the outdoor space like they would when camping. It's important not to leave any food outside and to be aware that there may be sightings of a fox, skunk, deer, raccoon, chipmunk (or maybe even a bear or mountain lion). Although sightings of the latter two are very rare, we recommend that people do not approach any wild animal that may be spotted on or around the property.
