A friendly village gastro pub with 4 B&B rooms. We have a family room and a twin room. Two rooms are dog friendly. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with large walk-in showers. Our room rate includes a full English breakfast. The restaurant serves excellent food with an extensive wine list and we have a lovely south facing garden. This listed building has recently been refurbished to provide maximum comfort in beautiful surroundings. Large family room with a king-size bed and sitting/dining area with a comfortable lounge area for the quiet evenings. On request, we can make up the sofa beds, which is suitable for 2 extra guests. Dog-friendly room. The Horse & Cart is in the centre of the small village of Peasmarsh. There are lots of great walks and cycle routes from the doorstep. There is a supermarket and petrol station 15 mins walk away. Rye is about 3 miles away and Hastings 14 miles. The beaches at Rye Harbour, Camber and Pett Level are about 7 miles away. We are on the edge of East Sussex and very close to the border of Kent. There are plenty of opportunities for watersports, fishing, horse riding and bird watching.
