The Sir William is in the heart of the Peak District with many local attractions including Chatsworth House and Bakewell only minutes away. Our terraced garden and superior double rooms overlook the village and spectacular Hope Valley views. We offer a warm welcome and friendly service to locals and visitors alike in our bar and restaurant. We can offer wedding reception, party and meeting facilities in our spacious function room. Our first floor double en-suites have a double bed, flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. We offer either a bath with shower over or shower in the en-suite. The three superior double rooms have a view of the Hope Valley, large bay window and seating area. Pets allowed in rooms 6 and 7 only please call. The Sir William is located in Grindleford in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Centrally located for easy access to Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Castleton, Ladybower reservoir and Eyam. The hotel is a twenty minute drive from Sheffield or Chesterfield. The National Trust Longshaw Estate grounds are within easy walking distance.
