This home is in a great central location - it’s right where 195 and the Turnpike meet so it offers easy access to highways whichever direction you are heading. 15 minutes to Great Adventure, 25 minutes to Princeton, 1 hour to NYC or Philadelphia, 35 minutes to the beach, close to Horse Park of NJ. So close to everything, yet a lovely, quaint throwback of a town that feels dropped in the middle of cornfields, sod farms and soccer fields. The house is historic so it has a ton of character. It also has a happy vibe. I’ve tried to make it as comfortable as possible for myself and my family so am confident you will feel comfortable here too. There are three rockers on the deep and wide front porch which is an excellent spot to enjoy coffee or a cocktail. The first floor has the main living space: living room with large sectional, TV (no cable but you can cast from your device via chromecast), electric fireplace; dining room with plenty of seating and Yamaha piano that you are welcome to play respectfully (please mind any children closely as it is a cherished instrument); fully stocked kitchen with coffee bar and an island with seating. The two bedrooms, an office and the bathroom on the second floor. There is a third bedroom with another tv and sitting area on the third floor that can be available at additional cost. Else, it will remain locked during your stay. If you need to do laundry, there is a washer and dryer in the basement available for your use. The neighbors are quiet but the house sits close to the street which means there is car noise. There is little traffic after 10PM. The bedrooms have high quality room darkening blinds. There is a detached barn-turned-garage with seating under a tin roof that is a great spot to sit and listen to rain. Behind the barn is a fenced yard with string lights, hammock, gas grill and fire pit. There are two parking spaces on the property behind the house in front of the garage. The house and garage are both duplexes. You may not park in front of my neighbors side of the garage or use their side of the driveway. The driveways connect like a circular driveway but you should enter and exit on the driveway on my side of the house only. I will not be local but will be reachable by phone and have someone available to assist you locally should you have a need of assistance. Neighbors have small, very friendly dogs. They are allowed to roam on my property and are not often leashed though they are supervised. Please be mindful to drive slowly up the driveway so they stay safe.
