My vacation Cottage named, ‘Kayak Shack Vacation Cottage' is located just 1 mile N of L'Anse, MI., offering breathtaking sunsets, tranquil star-gazing, serene wildlife and the bay's many moods for you to enjoy. Use the cottage as your base while exploring Baraga County. Spectacular waterfalls, scenic viewing, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, unbelievable fishing, kayaking, boating, cross country skiing, hiking, mountain biking, small game/deer hunting, & exploring are among the many pleasures of Baraga County; your 4-season wonderland. The cottage is a stone's throw from the town of L’Anse MI. Where you can purchase your groceries and activity supplies. ‘Kayak Shack Vacation Cottage’ has all the comforts of home with a living room, dining room, two bedrooms, laundry room, and full bathroom. The kitchen comes equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, and crockpot. The cottage also includes Free WI-FI and cable television. A gas grill is also available for use. Towels and sheets are also provided along with a washer & dryer. Start your day with coffee on the front deck then relax with a beverage at the end of the day as you watch the sun disappear over Keweenaw Bay. Then stroll over to the shoreline and enjoy a nice bonfire by the fire pit. A pullout couch offers extra space for guests to go along with the 2 bedrooms in the guest house. Guests have use of the main house which can comfortably accommodate 6 guests. I work as a Medical Technologist during the day and am available after 3 pm CST to assist with any questions. Local resources are available to assist with any questions or issues that come up prior to 3 pm CST The bay is an excellent all season fishing spot for walleye, lake trout, northern pike, bass, perch & whitefish, (ice fishing is a must). Launch your boat from the boat launch located one mile away in the town of L’Anse, and obtain your bait and fishing supplies from Indian Country Sales next to the boat launch.
