Martin room/Holly Heritage. Extended stays welcome

We have a farmhouse built in 1845. Located in a quiet neighborhood overlooking a private golf course. Lots of deer like to roam nearby, or you can just sit and watch the birds at our bird feeder. We raised our 4 children in this home and now they are all married off and have their own homes. We enjoy meeting people and sharing our home with people from all types of backgrounds. And if your just looking for a quiet getaway we will leave you alone to enjoy the quiet country life. The room and bathroom are on the 3rd floor. The room has a king bed with its own TV. We have a microwave and small refrigerator in the 2nd floor hallway. Coffee, tea, water and hot chocolate, along with other snacks will be available. A continental breakfast will be available in our kitchen on the first floor. Guests may use our living room, dining room and sun room on the first floor. The kithchen is available for quick lite meal preparation for our long term guests. Also we have a front porch that you might enjoy relaxing on. We live in the house also so we will be available if you have any needs or questions. I will leave contact information for our guests in your room in case we are not home. 10 minutes to Tower Health Reading and Alvernia University. A 45 min. drive to Lancaster city with many tourist attractions in between including Shady Maple Smorgasbord only 20 minutes south and Maple Grove Raceway about 10 minutes away. Nolde state forest is a 1/2 mile away with many trails for hiking. Also we are only 15 minutes away from Adamstown Pa known for its many antique shops. Philadelphia is only an hour drive or a 60 mile scenic bike ride. The Schuylkill River Trail is about 85% finished between Reading and Philadelphia. If you want to ride from Philadelphia I'd be willing to shuttle you to my home. Discounts will be applied when booking. We have 3 other rooms that may be available if this one isn't.
