Located five-and-a-half miles west of Augusta and five miles east of Winthrop, this home feels quiet and private while still being close to shopping, dining, and city entertainment options. The lake and private dock are just a few steps away from your back door so you can be on (or in) the water in no time. The interior is quaint and welcoming, with wood floors, wood walls, and cozy furnishings. A comfortable couch and two chairs surround a brick fireplace. On cold nights, there's no better place to hunker down with a warm mug of tea and a few good friends. Next to the living room, there's a large dining room table with eight chairs. One of the most defining features of this home is the large sun porch, which looks out over the water. A plush couch invites you to put your feet up while you browse the cable channels on the TV, while a group of armchairs encourages conversation. Toys, games, and books make this a great place to spend time as a group. From the sun porch, doors open onto the back deck. Sip a mug of coffee or an evening glass of wine while you admire views of the lake. In the summer, head down to your private dock for swimming or sunbathing. Take your boat out and explore some of the islands and inlets, or check out the lighthouse in the center of the lake. If you brought your hiking boots, head to Mt.
