With a great stone firepit, our very own beach unaffected by crowds and restrictions, a soapstone wood stove for those cold winter nights and a modern HVAC system - including central AC to take the edge of the occasional summer heatwave, this just may be the perfect spot for your summer vacation! A one of the kind home in Bretton Woods, this recently built home was inspired by a yurt and is centered around a stunningly unique central spiral staircase carved around a dead tree with its roots showing in the center. The staircase gives access to the top floor, where you will find a cozy master bedroom with an exposed walk in closet area, a rustic-theme bathroom with pebble and stone shower, and butcher block top vanity. On the same floor, the open balcony-style loft area includes a full size bed. In addition to these 2 sleeping areas and bathroom upstairs, the main level features an additional 2 bedrooms and another bathroom, plus open concept kitchen/dining/living room. The modern kitchen features stainless appliances and wood countertops, and has all the appliances you would expect from a well stocked kitchen, including a Keurig and an Instapot, plus all the pots and pans and utensils needed to make a meal. The living room features a cozy soapstone wood stove (firewood provided in the winter months), and a large wall mounted TV with live TV and lots of on-demand options - from Hulu Plus to HBO to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+! A don't forget the large deck, with grill, table, umbrella, and even a couple of rocking chairs to chill and soak in the views, plus a gorgeous stone patio with a stone firepit to make memories by the fire and wonder at the multitude of stars or the fireflies that grace us in the early summer months! Plus, you will have access to all the amazing features of the Moose Lodge and Cabins. We have been busy cutting new trails, giving easy walking access to some stunning ecological areas of the property, from wetlands and ponds to riverfront walks. Enjoy a swim in our pristine river, go for a stroll along the shore, tube, fish, and in the winter, snowshoe right in your backyard! Or simply sit on the deck and see if you can spot our resident bald eagle. This is a true memory maker! It is a Certified Wildlife Habitat, and we are working with local experts and the Federal government to ensure the preservation of the unique biological diversity of this piece of land, which includes gorgeous wetlands, beaver ponds, vernal pools, various streams, balsam fir and red spruce forests, maple groves and of course, the river front with its several beaches for the enjoyment of our guests.
