The Space: The villa consists of two levels with amazing seaview! On the ground floor there is an open plan living room and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, which also contains two single sofa beds. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom. On the top floor there are 3 bedrooms as well as the main bathroom. The master bedroom features a double bed and a private en-suite with jaccuzzi. The second bedroom has two single beds and the third bedroom has one single bed. There is a beautiful green garden around the house and several spacious balconies, where you will relax and and enjoy your meals or your favourite drink while gazing at the majestic view to the sea. An ideal choice for all seasons of the year. Guest Access: Guests will have exclusive access to all the areas of the villa. The Neighborhood: The house resides at the edge of the village of Marathopoli. It is a very vivid village where you will find stores with local products, fresh fish and meat and anything you might need for your daily shopping. Walk on the coastal sidewalk and feel the unique vibe of the area. Have a magnificent meal in one of the traditional fish taverns gazing the sunset and relax in the numerous cafes and bars/clubs of the area. Visit the small port with the friendly fishermen and take a local boat to the beautiful island of Proti, which in the ancient times was a common pirate hideaway. Within 6 kilometres distance from our residence you will find the beautiful town of Gargaliani, with the big square, the historical church, lovely coffee shops and local open market. If you feel like exploring, the location of the residence is an ideal starting point for discovering wonderful places in the surrounding area. Below you will find some of our recommendations. Swimming: At a short distance from the house there are many different beaches for every taste, such as Lagouvardos (4km), Romanos beach (15km), Voidokoilia beach (15km), Agios Ioannis, Agia Sotira, the Mati, as well as the Proti island which you may visit by boat. Many of the aforementioned beaches are naturally ideal for wind surfing enthusiasts! Historical sights: Nestor's palace (18km), Ancient Messene (65km), Gialova Lake (Natura 2000 protected area, 19km), Polilimnio lakes and waterfalls (35km), Neda river (44km), Castle of Kiparissia (27km), Castle of Pylos (25km). Sports: In the area you will experience many sports activities (organised or individual) such as biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, snorkelling, board surfing, wind surfing and sailing. In Marathopoli there is a diving centre and in Costa Navarino Resort there are two awarded golf courses for the enthusiasts of the sport. Getting Around: You can reach the house by car or local transportation. Breakfast service, is available upon request, (10€ per person) including all the ingredients, cooking and service. Lunch or dinner services, are also available upon request, with recipes of Mediterranean and modern cuisine with local quality products, (20€ per person) including cooking and service; the ingredients are not included.
