Refuel with a home-cooked meal by utilizing the fully-equipped kitchen, or head out to the patio where you can have a cookout on the gas grill. Head out to the second-floor balcony and gather around the outdoor table for an al fresco dining experience! The glass railing around the shaded balcony gives you a clear view of Lake Saint Clair as boats pass by and the sun setting in the west paints the sky. Take advantage of the summer days by heading out to the dock to utilize one of the 2 single kayaks, a double kayak, or the row boat to join the fellow fishermen, barges, and speed boats taking advantage of expansive Saint Clair. Enjoy the perfect sideline spot and grab a seat on the benches and swinging chairs found on the property when you're ready to dry off. When the cool lake breeze blows inland, head inside and warm up around the gas fireplaces. There are 2 in the house, one upstairs and one downstairs, that are accompanied by flat-screen TV’s and cozy couches, so everyone can relax happily. Click off the TV and head to bed in one of the rooms downstairs with 2 twin beds and a plush queen bed, or upstairs to the Master with a queen-sized bed as well. -- THE LOCATION -- Less than 15 minutes away is the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. Take the Nisqually boardwalk trail for a half-mile hike above the wetlands and through the natural areas teeming with wildlife and over 200 bird species! Trade the skipping stones for poker chips at the Red Wind Casino, just 6 minutes away from the house.
