It is nice to visit the Dutch cheese museum in Alkmaar, the 20th-century museum in Hoorn, or the Dutch steam engine museum in Medemblik. The town center with restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores rests at 2 km. You can be here in the evenings to enjoy the streetscape. If you wish to spend a day by the sea, you need to go 6 km. The villa has a wonderful garden with playground equipment for the children. In the summer, you can enjoy a barbecue here or have a nice drink in the garden.
