Stuttgart in 1.5 hours, Zurich in 2 hours. With the TGV express train you can reach Paris in 1: 45h for shopping, side sightseeing or a cultural trip to museums and galleries. Departure from Strasbourg train station early in the morning and late in the evening back to the apartment. From Basel Airport or from Baden-Baden you can fly cheaply to London, Rome, Vienna, Barcelona, Prague and Venice (Venice!).
