Cosy Luxury Retreat in Converted Bread Oven
Set in the beautiful and largely undiscovered Vallée de Gijou this luxury tiny house is equipped to the very highest standards. All self catering facilities are available, yet as ex-restauranteurs the owners can provide breakfasts, lunches/picnics and dinners on order. Nestled in the Haut Languedoc Park between the Southern French town of Castres (40 minutes) and world heritage site of Albi (45 minutes). The region is awash with places to visit and things to do. No expense has been spared in furnishing this tiny house to the standards of a boutique hotel. The ancient bread oven building has been restored with care and respect, recycling and incorporating reclaimed materials where feasible. The bed is made from the old beams and recovered planking as are the window sills and table top. Installed are two satellite televisions with Amazon Prime and Netflix. Be sure if a good nights sleep with the sprung and memory foam mattress combination and anti-allergy down effect duvet. The shower has a large 90cm cabin with Grohe thermostatic shower and a heated towel rail. If you are lucky enough to visit during the colder months you can enjoy the Esse Bakeheart wood burning cooker and unlimited wood. The property is offered as self catering but anything up to full catering can be offered. Dietary requirements are not usually an issue. Breakfast 10€ pp Picnic lunch 20€ for 2 people, Dinner 30€ pp with a complimentary glass of wine with each course.
