This two-storey villa tucked away in the countryside, yet close to Florence, is a haven in the hills, providing supremely comfortable lodgings with sublime views. Generously proportioned, the villa is perfectly suited for larger groups, with large communal areas inside and out and six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, offering plenty of room for as many as 11 guests. Plus two of the bedrooms interconnect, so this could be the ideal choice for your group if it includes a family with young children. There are traditional touches throughout - wonderful brick archways, terracotta tiled floors and wood-beamed ceilings - and the villa is elegantly and comfortably furnished, with iron bedsteads and antique wardrobes adding a particularly romantic air to the bedrooms. Bring everyone together in the huge lounge, where the musicians among you can tickle the ivories of the piano and the competitive members of your group can challenge each other to a game of pool. There's a dining table in the open-plan kitchen but you're more likely to head outdoors for al fresco meals on one of the two terraces, because the real stars of this show are the beautiful gardens, sparkling pool and breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Parking - On site Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms and is included in the rental price. There is a small cottage building on-site which is used for storage. It is kept locked and is not for guests’ use. Pool The pool is in the garden, surrounded by a paved sun deck furnished with loungers with parasols. The water is accessed by an metal ladder.
