COOINDA meaning 'Happy Place' is a beautifully appointed contemporary waterfront reserve home. Easily accessible to the serene crystal clear waters of St. Georges Basin and set upon a huge block of land surrounded by natural flora and fauna. - (REFER Photos 1 to 25). On the water side, a gentle sloping paved pathway and some steps leading down to the perfectly level yard with a picnic table ( refer photo) and magnificent views of the waterfront. Note that from our property boundary to the waters edge is ONLY 10 metres. ************ COOINDA DESCRIPTION and Terms and conditions ( Below). . . A welcoming introduction to the local bird life, such as King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas & Kookaburras - you may also experience Kangaroos and Possums, often just at your doorstep! The property includes 3 large bedrooms, modern bathroom and a well appointed kitchen and is Air conditioned.. There is also a slow combustion fireplace Note wood is only supplied between May through to October. NO WiFi however there is good wireless broadband reception. *** PLEASE NOTE: We request 'NO SMOKING' inside the property for the benefit of all our future guests *** *** STRICTLY NO PETS ARE PERMITTED TO THIS PROPERTY *** DUE TO COVID 19, WE HAVE INCREASED OUR CLEANING FEE TO PERMIT EXTRA TIME TO PREPARE THE HOME FOR YOUR SAFETY BETWEEN GUESTS. OPTIONAL EXTRAS * A two-man canoe and Paddle skis are available at $40 per stay (Including several Life Jackets). Canoe, Paddle skis and Life Jackets are included in the tariff when booking for 5 nights or more! ** Extended checkout to 2.30pm is available for an extra $50 - however conditions apply. NOTE 1: Long stays are available at discounted rates. NOTE 2: Bond for age range 18-24 is $600 and we do not accept " Schoolies". A maximum of 4 adults only and inspection by site Manager. Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable, unless the house is re-let for the entire period. The owners will make every effort to ensure that the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings, due to unforeseen circumstances. To maintain a good standard for our guests, we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate that most guests will respect our property, however the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions. Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed to in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance. This is a family orientated home and PARTIES and FUNCTIONS are strictly prohibited. The price / tariff charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate DOES NOT INCLUDE CLEANING, repairs or damage etc. Use contrary to this, will result in additional payments. Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay. Our permitted Arrival time to the property is 2pm and on Departure day we request that you leave the property in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is by 10am, to allow time to prepare property for next guests. However you may apply for an extended Check Out time to 2pm at the cost of $50 (Conditions apply ) Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental with no refund. ****$300 Bond is payable and return to you within 7 days after you vacate ,provided that the property is tidy and no breakages or damage have occurred. NOTE that any damage / breakage or items found missing to the property are not limited to the $300 Bond. Linen is to be supplied by the tenant STRICTLY - Pets are not allowed. NO SMOKING PERMITTED INSIDE THE PROPERTY LOSS - The owners take no responsibility for the tenants personal property. Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing. Two surf / paddle ski's plus a two man canoe and life jackets are available for hire @ $30 per stay. The use of the canoe & paddle skis are free for booking 5 days or longer. PLEASE NOTE that the canoe and paddle skis are available for use on the clear understanding that the life jackets provided, are worn at all times whilst in the water , that all users can swim and that you use them at your own risk. Jervis Bay Escape is not held accountable for any injuries which may occur. Deposit and final payment to stay at Cooinda is acknowledgement and acceptance of all of the above conditions. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO PROPERTY Jervis Bay Escape - 'Cooinda' is just 8-10 minutes drive to some of NSW's most attractive tourist destinations - Hyams Beach, Green Patch & Jervis Bay Marine Parks. There are a variety of fantastic fishing opportunities, including prawning - right at your door step! - Note: The convenience of the local boat ramp is just down the road (1 minute away). Bush walking is a must - with endless walking tracks around the Basin and Jervis Bay Peninsular. Why not start outside your front door with the 'Basin walk' - a 10km return (easy walk) which follows the beautiful northern foreshore. Drop in for Breakfast, Lunch or just a Coffee at Greville's Corner store! A round of golf at St. Georges Basin Country Club is only 1km away. You may like to dine out, so why not try some of the local eateries at either Sanctuary Point, Vincentia or Huskisson. Sanctuary Point Shops are only 1km away and offer all services, including Banking, Post Office & local Take Aways, including great pizzas!!! Dolphin & Whale Watch Cruises are available from Huskisson, along with Fishing Charters and a local Cinema. OTHER LOCAL INTERESTS . . .
