Unique Upcycled Straw Trailer @ Westcote

Situated on a working sheep farm in the heart of the Scottish Borders Westcote has a range of beautifully styled pods, huts, and gypsy caravans offering panoramic views of the Minto Hills, stabling facilities, hot tubs and much more! Westcote's location means nearby will find beautiful countryside, exhilarating hikes, charming pubs and historic ruins. This unit is our brand new Straw Trailer. During the pandemic, we upcycled a rusty disused straw trailer base to create a bespoke six-person luxury glamping experience. The trailer has two single beds, two double beds and a sofa bed. It is the largest of our units and our only winterised option - available all year with a wood burner (coming in October 2021) and sheltered decking area to keep you toasty during Scotland’s snowy winters. The trailer has its own toilet, shower, hob, sink, oven, fridge, BBQ and fire pit. During your stay you also have access to our shared outdoor kitchen facilities, picnic benches, and for an additional charge can book one of our three wood-burning hot tubs - contact us directly to book a hot tub! Notes: For Covid-19 policy changes please see our website and social media. No excessive noise after 11 pm. Bedding (feather duvets, pillows, towels and brushed cotton sheets) available to pre-book for £15. Dogs are welcome - £5 charge per dog, maximum 3 dogs. The large hot tubs are £35 for exclusive use from 5pm until midnight and the small is £25. This is subject to availability, please contact directly to book. The unit sleeps 6 adults max - no exceptions. However, eight people can book if at least two are children under 5. Please call or email to discuss. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco is provided for guests staying three nights or more. Additional items can be purchased, for instance, extra logs, BBQ hampers, and our own hen eggs.
