Up to eight guests can stay in this property, with a double bed in the first bedroom, two single beds in the second and third bedrooms, and a double sofa bed in the living area. The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and towel rail, with an extra toilet and sink in a separate room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, stove, microwave, toaster and kettle, plus plenty of cookware and tableware. Towels and bedding are included, together with gas and electricity on the terms of a fair use basis. This property is pet-friendly and all our properties are no-smoking. Nestled in a gentle valley amongst 50 acres of woodland, Coghurst Hall Holiday Park is set on the edge of the historic seaside town of Hastings. With a stunning fishing lake, family-friendly facilities and a short drive from the many attractions of East Sussex, Coghurst Hall has something for everyone. The park boasts a large lake teeming with fish where anglers of all ages can try to catch a monster carp (fishing licence required) or simply relax and unwind in the beautiful scenery. The recently refurbished clubhouse includes a bar and restaurant which provides a takeaway service and evening entertainment, and the new decking and beer garden is perfect for enjoying a drink outside. At nightfall the beer garden is lit by string lights, creating a mellow, intimate atmosphere. The family-friendly facilities include a children’s club, arcade and an indoor heated pool that gives the feel of swimming through underground caves. It’s also an ideal base for exploring the Sussex countryside, with a nature trail and woodland walks. A 10-minute drive away, Hastings is a vibrant town where modern amenities meet history. You can explore the medieval Old Town with its quirky independent shops, bars and restaurants, or enjoy traditional seaside fun at the popular beach with its long promenade, amusements, aquarium and crazy golf. A historic Cinque Port, you can explore the ancient caves used by pirates and smugglers or take a trip to Hastings Castle. For an even deeper dive into history, 20 minutes’ drive away from Coghurst Hall is the town of Battle, built around the famous Battle Abbey and battlefield where King Harold fought William the Conqueror in 1066. The ruins and visitors centre provides a fun day out for all the family. The park is also situated a 4-minute drive from the train station in the little village of Three Oaks. 20 minutes’ drive away is Rye, a beautiful old town with its castle, art galleries, quirky shops and quaint cobbled streets. Rye is framed by lovely beaches, with the picturesque Winchelsea Beach on one side and the glorious Camber Sands on the other. Nearest supermarket: 6-minute drive. Park facilities include: shop, clubhouse with bar and restaurant, launderette, WiFi, play area, arcade, entertainment venue, fishing lake, beer garden, indoor leisure pool. For full use of the facilities, park passes can be purchased at reception upon arrival. Contactless check-in.
