Shaw Guest Suite: Belle on Tower Grove Park

Between each stay, protocols include cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.). *** The Shaw Guest Suite is a serene sanctuary in a well-maintained 1920s-era apartment complex. The apartment is in St. Louis' historic Shaw Neighborhood, one-and-a-half blocks east of the world-renowned Missouri Botanical Garden. The Shaw Guest Suite is on the first floor, and only accessible by a half flight of stairs. Before your arrival, the Shaw will be stocked with welcome teas and treats, freshly roasted coffee, and light breakfast foods to start your stay. You'll also find a range of cleaning supplies that you're welcome to use and complimentary toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, Q-Tips, etc.). To keep our rates low, we don't replenish these items during your stay. The Shaw can sleep up to four, with an excellent queen-sized bed and a sleeper sofa bed in the living room. Base rates are for two guests sharing the queen bed. If you will have two in your party, but would still like to use the sleeper sofa, please make your reservation for three. The apartment has internet with WIFI, and an antenna for local stations on the flat screen television. You are welcome to log into any streaming services to which you subscribe, through the Roku Box. There is a television in both the living room and bedroom. Dynamic pricing ensures competitive rates. State lodging taxes apply to stays of less than 30 nights and City lodging taxes also apply to stays of less than 32 nights. SF Shannon offers weekly and monthly discounts, which are applied at the time of booking. Sorry, while we all love them, we do not allow pets at the Shaw Guest Suite. Smoking is prohibited. Upon making a reservation, you will be asked to sign an electronic document to confirm your understanding of SF Shannon's payment and cancellation schedule and policies. The Shaw Guest Suite is less than 10 minutes by car--or an easy and delightful bike ride--to St. Louis' most beloved attractions: The Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, City Museum, the St. Louis Zoo, Forest Park, the Fabulous Fox Theatre and Powell Symphony Hall. The Shaw Guest Suite is across the street from magnificent Tower Grove Park, a Victorian gem with more than 8,000 trees and shrubs, historic gates, gazebos and pavilions, a playground and wading pool, and a farmers' market that bustles with activity every Saturday during growing season. Within walking distance are dozens of outstanding restaurants. Since all of SF Shannon's vacation rental apartments are in the historic core of St. Louis, we occasionally receive the question: “Is it safe?” This question is impossible to answer, because we typically know nothing about the person asking it. The co-owners live within walking distance of each SF Shannon vacation rental. Rachel, Karen and their spouses have raised their families in their respective neighborhoods, and have always felt perfectly safe.
