We are already talking of coming here again.' Our 1500 sq ft. house is loft-style, built on a large rock with views of the Marin Mountains. Take pleasure in relaxing nights as you hear the crickets chirp and the rushing of the creek during the rainy months. Our house is a beautiful, tranquil place to unwind and enjoy everything that nature has to offer. On any given day, deer can be seen as close as 10 ft. from the outside deck. Our house is nestled in the quaint town of Fairfax, CA which was just voted in 2011 as the ' Best Town in Marin' by the Pacific Sun.It is a quiet haven untouched by strip malls and corporate chains, yet it is close enough to the hustle and bustle of cities like San Francisco and Berkeley. A short distance a way are Mill Valley, Sausalito, Muir Woods, Mt. Tamalpais, Point Reyes, Stinson Beach & Napa. Take advantage of picnicking in Deer Park, hiking/driving to the many lakes located near the house, strolling through the town of Fairfax, antique shopping in San Anselmo and exploring the other great cities, beaches & activities nearby. A few nights in Fairfax and you just may decide to stay! We are walking distance to Deer Park Villa Minimum one week stay over Christmas holiday.
