With panoramic views and breathtaking surroundings, including endless flora and fauna, and a contingent of mallards, egrets, and swans, this hideaway may be moments from Southport Village, but feels like many miles from everything. Original hardwood floors and updated amenities make for a charming place to rest your bones, if only for the evening. The space This stunning, historic studio apartment is located atop a renovated Mill along side a breathtaking pond and waterfall. Original hardwood floors, exposed wooden beams and thoughtful furnishings, embrace the historic setting. With multiple windows and skylights,it is bright, airy, and filled with views. There is plenty of room for up to four people to prepare and enjoy intimate meals while viewing the beautiful Mill pond below. We also have high speed Wi-Fi and a desk / work space area making this an ideal location for business travelers. We're thrilled to announce our partnership with B:Hive Co-Working. We have opened a multi-level work space with views of the lake and waterfall, just downstairs from our charming studio vacation rental. Our guests get a free day pass and discounted rates for more time, so they can give B:Hive a spin, or a buzz. Guest access Guests can park in our private parking lot. You enter by placing a code in a smart lock, which allows for self check in. The studio apartment is up one flight of stairs. The entire space is yours. The apartment is set up in an open layout. We have a bedroom section with a queen size bed. There is a full kitchen with plates, glasses, cups, and utensils. Of course a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker are included. The kitchen is small and quaint, but adequate to prepare a romantic meal for four. There is a cute dining section with a table for four. Plenty of sunlight (or moonlight) coming through the skylights and windows. You even have a lovely view of the Mill pond below. The living section has a cozy couch that is also a sofa bed (full size). You can enjoy our large screen smart TV with cable and Amazon Fire Stick. Of course you can always stream your favorite music on our Amazon Alexa/Sonos System. Alexa can also be used to set the temperature for the central airconditioning or heat, in addition to turning on or off lights and locking the door. The entire building was a working Mill until the early 20th century. We have completely embraced its history and renovated with love. Right down to preserving the hardwood floors and exposed beams.
