We are 3 minutes away from the heart of Mystic; 3 minutes to get to the beach. There’s a story to this glass: it comes from the 1964 NY World’s Fair Vatican Pavilion, by way of a barge on the Thames River and installed by Father Curry in 1973. That’s just the start of the unique charm you’ll find here! Each floor of the home has two big bedrooms and one full bathroom, as well as its own dining room and family/living room. This layout gives the house an airy, open feel that can easily accommodate a full crew. The downstairs living area features a 70” flat-screen and comfy sofas for movie nights; upstairs, a second living area features a gas fireplace for more romantic evenings. The fully stocked kitchen on the second floor is designed for family feasts. Large windows provide impressive water views, and a spacious floor plan makes it easy for multiple cooks to work together. Various dining areas mean everyone has a place at the table. The large second floor deck provides fantastic views of the property, including seasonal views of the Long Island Sound. There’s no better place to sip your morning coffee. Furnished with comfortable outdoor seating, it’s also a great spot to enjoy dinner under the stars. Bed & Bath Every bedroom is a master bedroom! Each has a king-sized bed wrapped in Land’s End Supima linens and a flat-screen TV. Two of the bedrooms have desk areas for Zoom meetings (if you must) and two feature gorgeous stained-glass windows. Two full baths—one each floor—are spacious, modern, and fully stocked with fresh towels and linens for everyone. The recently renovated upstairs bathroom features a large vanity and brand-new cabinets. We often hear from guests that photos don’t do our home justice, so you’ll have to come and see for yourself! The Area The Merritt Family Farm is centrally located within just a few miles to the beach, playgrounds, parks, Mystic Seaport, and more. Down the hill is Poquonnock Plains Park, with a children’s playscape, jungle gym and a well-maintained walking/running trail. Across the street is the Bluff Point National State Park, with forested hiking and biking trails. Nearby Bridge Market is great for stocking the kitchen (delivery is available!). Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport, movie-famous Mystic Pizza and world-class spa G Spa at Foxwoods, are all just a short drive away.
